I am really thankful to Nationwide for their commitment to aggressive loan programs for 1st time home buyers. It is not easy to get approved for a mortgage today, but their loan officers have the experience to make it happen. Please keep posting the articles that promote home ownership!

If I puchased a home under the First Time HomeOwners $8,000 credit can I refinance under a FHA loan.
My fiance's credit is bad and I want to refinance under my own name witha lower rate. I have been borrowing from family to meet my mortgagepayments but can't continue and don't want to forclose or or become deliquent.
I have actually been advised to become delinquent or just forclose but don't want to do that. Really really need advice and best way to approach without messing up my credit rating. thank you for any assistance and who I can talk to who knows the rules. Del

Falling property values and unemployment near 10 percent have spurred a surge in foreclosures. The number of homes offered in foreclosure auctions averaged 110,000 a month in the third quarter compared with about 98,000 in the same period a year earlier, said Mark Fleming, CoreLogic’s chief economist.
